These Tuna Melt Grilled Sandwiches are a delicious and easy-to-make lunch option. Perfectly grilled bread with a cheesy, flavorful tuna filling that will satisfy your cravings!

Tuna Mixture:
- 2 (5-ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped celery
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Additional Ingredients:
- 4 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
- 8 slices sandwich bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Instructions
- Tuna Mixture: In a medium bowl, mix together the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, red onion, celery, salt, pepper, and parsley until well combined.
- Assemble Sandwiches: Lay out 4 slices of bread and top each with a slice of cheese. Evenly divide the tuna mixture over the cheese, then top with another slice of cheese and the remaining slices of bread.
- Grill Sandwiches: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Butter the outsides of the sandwiches. Grill each sandwich for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Try adding sliced tomatoes or pickles inside the sandwich for extra flavor.
- Use sourdough or rye bread for a twist on the classic.
