Dough:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, warm water, sugar, and yeast. Add butter, egg, salt, and 3 cups of flour. Mix and gradually add remaining flour until dough is soft. Knead for 8–10 minutes.
- Rise the Dough: Place dough in a greased bowl, let rise until doubled (about 1 hour). Shape into loaf or rolls, let rise again.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown. Cool before slicing.
Notes
- For extra richness, replace water with more milk.
- Brush the top of the bread with melted butter after baking for a soft crust.
