- 2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Creamy Cajun Shrimp Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 8 oz large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (plus more for shrimp)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season and Sear the Steaks: Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side. Rest the steaks.
- Cook the Shrimp and Make the Sauce: Melt butter in the same skillet, add shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cook until pink. Add garlic, then pour in cream and stir in Parmesan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Finish and Serve: Return steaks to the skillet or plate, spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce on top. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- You can substitute ribeye with NY strip or filet mignon.
