Description

This quick and refreshing mango iced tea is the perfect summer drink. Made with sweet mango puree and freshly brewed tea, it’s a delightful blend of fruity and floral flavors that will keep you cool on a hot day.

Ingredients

Scale

For the mango puree:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

For the tea:

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • Ice
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the mango puree: In a blender, combine the chopped mangoes, water, and sugar. Blend until smooth. Strain the puree to remove any fibers.
  2. Brew the tea: In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Discard the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  3. Combine: In a pitcher, mix the mango puree with the brewed tea. Stir well to combine.
  4. Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour the mango iced tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness of the tea by adding more or less sugar to the mango puree.
  • For a stronger tea flavor, steep the tea bags longer before combining with the mango puree.
