- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry sheet to smooth any folds and slightly thin the dough.
- Brush the entire surface with beaten egg.
- In a small bowl, mix together Parmesan, cheddar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the pastry.
- Fold the sheet in half lengthwise, press gently to help the cheese stick, then roll lightly with a rolling pin.
- Cut into 1/2-inch wide strips. Twist each strip a few times and place on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Cool slightly before serving.
