  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Other Layers:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook lasagna noodles, brown ground beef and Italian sausage with onion, garlic, marinara sauce, and tomatoes in a skillet.
  2. Cheese Filling: Mix cream cheese, sour cream, cottage or ricotta cheese, egg, and garlic powder in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Layer: Spread meat sauce in a baking dish, layer noodles, cheese mixture, mozzarella, and repeat. Top with Parmesan.
  4. Bake: Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes until golden.
