Description

This Jalapeño Lime Ranch Slaw is a zesty and flavorful twist on traditional coleslaw. The combination of crunchy cabbage, spicy jalapeños, fresh cilantro, and tangy ranch dressing creates a refreshing side dish that’s perfect for summer barbecues and picnics.


Ingredients

For the Slaw:

  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 12 fresh jalapeños, seeds removed and finely diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

For the Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, purple cabbage, carrots, jalapeños, and cilantro. Mix well.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together ranch dressing, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  3. Pour dressing over slaw mixture and toss until evenly coated. Ensure all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld. Serve cold and enjoy!
