  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 and 1/4 cups warm water (110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Filling:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dough Preparation: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add warm water and olive oil, mix until a dough forms.
  2. Kneading: Knead the dough for 6–8 minutes until smooth. Let it rise until doubled in size.
  3. Rolling: Roll the dough into a rectangle, sprinkle with cheeses, then roll up and place in a loaf pan.
  4. Rising: Let the dough rise again until puffy.
  5. Baking: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cooling: Cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
