Ingredients
Ripe Avocados:
3 avocados, peeled and pitted;
Red Onion:
1 small, finely chopped;
Tomato:
1 medium, seeded and diced;
Garlic Cloves:
1–2, minced;
Jalapeño:
1, seeded and finely chopped (optional);
Fresh Cilantro:
1/4 cup, chopped;
Lime Juice:
juice of 1 lime;
Salt and Pepper:

Instructions
- Mash Avocados: In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork until mostly smooth, leaving a bit of texture.
- Add Ingredients: Stir in the chopped onion, tomato, garlic, and jalapeño if using. Add cilantro and lime juice.
- Season: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently until well combined.
- Serve or Refrigerate: Serve immediately or refrigerate covered until ready to serve.

- For a chunkier guacamole, mash the avocados less.
