Cookies:
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs

Topping:
- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- ½ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Prepare the Cookies: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix the cake mix, oil, and eggs in a bowl. Add chocolate chips if desired. Drop tablespoons of dough on the sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes.
- Make the Topping: In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter, and vanilla. Cook until thickened. Stir in coconut and pecans. Spoon onto cooled cookies.
