Beat the heat with these refreshing Fresh Pineapple Strawberry Swirled Slushies. A delightful blend of fresh pineapple, strawberries, and a hint of lime, these slushies are perfect for a hot summer day.


Ingredients

    For the Pineapple Slush:

  • 3 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/8 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • For the Strawberry Slush:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1/8 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Pineapple Slush: In a blender, combine pineapple chunks, half of the sugar, 1 cup of ice, 1/4 cup of water, and lime juice. Blend until smooth and slushy. Pour into a pitcher.
  2. Strawberry Slush: Rinse the blender. Add strawberries, remaining sugar, 1 cup of ice, and 1/4 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  3. To serve, alternate pouring pineapple and strawberry mixtures into glasses for a swirl effect. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • For a naturally sweeter drink, skip the sugar if your fruit is very ripe.
  • For an adult version, add a splash of rum or vodka before blending.
