  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup rolled oats (optional for texture)
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper or a light greasing.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, eggs, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add dry ingredients: Stir in cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Optionally fold in oats and choice of nuts or chocolate chips.
  4. Bake: Pour the batter into the loaf pan, smooth the top, and bake for 35–45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool and serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
