Chicken:
- 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Sauce:
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
Garnish:
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions
- Season the chicken: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
- Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet, sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, cook minced garlic, then add chicken broth, lemon juice, honey, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Finish the dish: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and cook for another 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices before serving.
