Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Casserole Components:
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (28-ounce) bag frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic powder and pepper.
- Combine Ingredients: Stir in mushroom soup, sour cream, vegetables, and 1 cup of cheese. Transfer to baking dish.
- Add Tater Tots: Arrange tater tots on top of the beef mixture.
- Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes until tater tots are crispy. Sprinkle remaining cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.
