Description

These Deep Dish Pizza Cupcakes are a fun and easy twist on traditional pizza. Made with biscuit dough, pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings, they are perfect for snacks or appetizers.

Biscuit Dough:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)

Pizza Cupcakes:

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or chopped cooked sausage
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Chopped parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Prepare dough: Separate biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle. Press one dough round into each muffin cup, gently pressing it up the sides to form a cup.
  3. Add toppings: Spoon 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each cup, then top with shredded mozzarella, a few mini pepperoni or sausage pieces, a sprinkle of Parmesan, and a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  4. Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the dough is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  5. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan before removing. Garnish with parsley or basil if desired and serve warm.
