Description

This Crockpot Chicken Stuffing recipe is a comforting and easy meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Tender chicken breasts are cooked in a creamy sauce and topped with savory stuffing for a delicious one-pot dish.

Chicken:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Sauce:

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Other:

  • 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker: Coat the inside of a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare chicken: Arrange chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  3. Make sauce: In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Pour over the chicken.
  4. Add stuffing: Sprinkle dry stuffing mix evenly on top.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  6. Optional cheese: If desired, add shredded cheddar cheese during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  7. Serve: Enjoy warm with your favorite veggies or a side salad.

  • You can use cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken.
