  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • 1 package wonton wrappers (about 40)
  • small bowl of water (for sealing)
  • vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Filling: In a medium bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Assemble Wontons: Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the filling onto a wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold over to form a triangle, and seal. Optionally, bring the bottom corners together and seal to create classic wonton shape. Repeat.
  3. Fry Wontons: Heat vegetable oil, fry wontons in batches until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve: Enjoy hot with dipping sauces of your choice.
