Description

Main Crab Mixture:

  • 8 oz lump crab meat (drained and picked over for shells)
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Additional:

  • 1 package mini phyllo shells (15 count)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Chopped chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and arrange the mini phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
  2. Mix the crab mixture: In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, green onion, salt, and pepper until smooth. Gently fold in the crab meat.
  3. Fill the shells: Spoon the crab mixture into the phyllo shells, brush the tops with melted butter, and bake for 12-15 minutes until hot and golden.
