Description

These Crispy Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are a fun twist on a classic cheeseburger, with seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, and pickles all wrapped up in a crispy egg roll wrapper. Perfect for parties or as a delicious snack!

Ingredients

Scale

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickles, finely chopped (optional)

Additional Ingredients:

  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Dipping sauce of choice (ketchup, burger sauce, or ranch)

Instructions

  1. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season: Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Fill Egg Roll Wrappers: Mix in shredded cheese and pickles if using. Spoon beef mixture onto each egg roll wrapper and fold into rolls.
  4. Fry: Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry egg rolls until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per batch.
  5. Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a lighter option, brush egg rolls with oil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway, or cook in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes.
