Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter. Sauté mushrooms for 3–4 minutes until softened, then add the garlic and broccoli. Cook for another 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour in the chicken broth and cook until broccoli is just tender.
  4. Finish the Dish: Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 2 minutes to warm through. Garnish with parsley before serving, if desired.
