  • 5 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (15-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil and brown the sausage: In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil and Italian sausage. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic: Add diced onion and cook until softened, then stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Add broth, tomatoes, and noodles: Pour in chicken broth and crushed tomatoes, then add lasagna noodles. Bring to a boil, then simmer until noodles are tender.
