Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)

Pepper Jelly:

  • 1/4 cup red or green pepper jelly

Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg (beaten)

Garnish (optional):

  • fresh thyme or chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the pastry: Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 16 equal squares (about 2×2 inches).
  3. Shape the cups: Place the squares into mini muffin tin cups, pressing gently to form a small cup shape.
  4. Add fillings: Add about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese into each pastry cup, followed by 1/2 teaspoon of pepper jelly on top.
  5. Brush with egg wash: Brush the exposed pastry edges lightly with beaten egg.
