Cream Cheese Filling:

Pepper Jelly:
- 1/4 cup red or green pepper jelly
Egg Wash:
- 1 egg (beaten)
Garnish (optional):
- fresh thyme or chopped chives
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the pastry: Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 16 equal squares (about 2×2 inches).
- Shape the cups: Place the squares into mini muffin tin cups, pressing gently to form a small cup shape.
- Add fillings: Add about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese into each pastry cup, followed by 1/2 teaspoon of pepper jelly on top.
- Brush with egg wash: Brush the exposed pastry edges lightly with beaten egg.
- Bake: Bake for 14–17 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
- Garnish and serve: Let cool slightly, then garnish with fresh thyme or chives if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.
