Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the Cake Base: In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg to form a dough. Press this into the baking dish.
- Make the Cream Cheese Layer: Beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add 2 eggs, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Assemble and Bake: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base and bake for 40–45 minutes until the center is gooey yet edges are set.
