Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream wet ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the pumpkin purée, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  4. Mix wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
