  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ cup beef broth

Stir-Fry:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
  • cooked white rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and beef broth. Add sliced beef, coat well, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Stir-Fry: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet. Stir-fry broccoli until tender, then set aside. Add remaining oil, brown beef, add garlic and ginger, then return broccoli. Pour in remaining sauce, cook until thickened. Drizzle with sesame oil.
