Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the chicken: In a skillet, cook diced chicken in olive oil or butter until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
- Sauté aromatics: In the same pan, sauté onions, garlic, and mushrooms with salt, pepper, and thyme until tender.
- Thicken the sauce: Sprinkle flour over the mixture, then add chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir until thickened.
- Combine and fill: Mix in cooked chicken and cheese. Let filling cool slightly.
- Assemble pastries: Roll out puff pastry, cut into squares, add filling, fold, and seal. Brush with egg wash.
