Ingredients

Scale

Cheese Puffs:

  • 1 package frozen cheese puffs or gougères (about 24 pieces, or homemade if preferred)

Mini Burger Patties:

  • 1/2 pound ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Additional Ingredients:

  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese (cut into small squares)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 12 small lettuce leaves
  • 12 slices tomato or pickles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Cheese Puffs: Preheat the oven and bake the cheese puffs according to package directions, or prepare homemade gougères.
  2. Cook the Mini Burger Patties: Mix the ground meat with seasonings, shape into patties, cook until done, and melt cheese on top.
  3. Prepare the Slider Sauce: Combine mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the cheese puffs, spread sauce, add lettuce, tomato or pickles, a mini patty, and the top half of the puff.
  5. Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute the beef with grilled chicken or veggie patties.
  • For an extra kick, add a slice of jalapeño or drizzle with hot sauce.
  • These sliders are great for parties and can be assembled just before serving.
