  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or cilantro

Optional:

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a skillet, sauté onion in olive oil until softened. Add garlic, then ground meat and cook until browned. Add spices, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Simmer until thickened.
  3. Combine and Serve: Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to coat, and heat through. Stir in parsley or cilantro. Serve hot, topped with plain yogurt if desired.
