Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix melted coconut oil or butter, coconut sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Combine the mixtures: Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until a soft dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Bake the cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, flatten, and bake for 9–11 minutes until set.
- Cool and enjoy: Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
